PVC/NBR rubber-plastic foam heat preservation material is an environmental type product with our fully automatic production line which based on the most advanced technology introduced by our company from abroad.
The main features of the product are closed-cell foam structure, low coefficient of heat conductivity; It has excellent heat insulation effect and can reduce power consumption; The closed-cell foam structure and compact coat makes it hard for vapor to permeate and makes low water absorbability; The product is flexible and this greatly facilitates construction and installation; The product looks elegant and clean; With wide range of applicable temperature(-40℃to120℃) and good weather resisting property, the product is durable; Unique fire retardant formulation makes the material have excellent fireproof and fire retardant effect.
Because of its excellent general properties the product has found wide application in construction, light and texible, pharmaceutical, chemical, metallurgy and shipbuilding industries etc. The product is largely used on water and refrigerant tubing/pipelines of air conditioning system for cool preservation (to prevent moist) and heat preservation (to avoid heat loss), which has obtained ideal result of application. | |

Low thermal conductivity |

The coefficient of heat conductivity of this material is 0.034w/m.k at an average temperature of 0℃.But its coefficient of surface heat liberation is high, therefore, with the same external conditions, to use this product in less than half-value thickness of other heat insulation material could reach the same insulation effect, thus reducing ceiling void and cutting down investment.

Low water vapor transmissibility |
|
It is hard for vapor in external air to penetrate into the material, which has excellent ability of vapor penetration resistance, thus it is no need to add vapor insulation layer on the outer surface of cold/heat preservation layer. The value of damp resistance factor μof the material is no less than 4500,which makes the material an “internal” vapor insulation layer, providing both heat preservation and damp resistance.

Excellent fire-proof capability |
|
There is a lot of fire retardant and smoke damping stuff in this material. When burning the smoke concentration is very low. The material does not melt in fire and it does not drop down burning fire ball. The material has self-extinguishing property. According to GB-8624-1997 “Classification Method of Combustibility of Building Materials”, this material is assessed as class B1 nonflammable material, thus safe and reliable application of the material is ensured.

Easy operation and nice appearance |
|
Huaneng PVC/NBR rubber-plastic foam heat preservation material is rich in plasticity and thus facilitates installation. For application on pipeline you can either put on the insulation pipe first or cut the insulation pipe longitudinally and then bind it. For application on complex parts such as value, tee and bend etc you can cut out insulation sheet according the shape of the part and then bind the covering so as to ensure the strictness and heat preservation property of the whole system. As the surface of material is smooth and flat like rubber, as well as other excellent properties, there is no need to add vapor insulation layer, protection layer, thus cutting down troublesome steps in installation and ensuring beautiful and level figuration. During pipeline service the stripped covering of this material is reusable without change of the performance.
